Hoobastank Wows U.S., Next Stop Asia

Hoobastank wowed key in the U.S. This July from Los Angeles to New York. After a series of sold-out concerts, Hoobastank is all set to conquer Asia, part of the band's "The Reason" tour this August.

52 million people tuned in as Hoobastank's "The Reason" became the anthem in the season ender of "Friends". Hoobastank has gone platinum (or sold 1 million albums) twice-over: their self-titled debut album "Hoobastank" and now their latest album "The Reason". The album's carrier single is in the top five of the most downloadable songs in the internet and has stayed on top of the Billboard charts.

Hoobastank's first stop is Osaka, Japan on Aug. 7, followed by Seoul, Korea on Aug. 10, Jakarta, Indonesia on Aug. 12, Singapore on Aug. 14, Kuala Lumpur on Aug. 15 and finally the Philippines on Aug. 17.

The band's self-titled debut album made it big in 2001 which produced hits like "Crawling in the Dark", "Remember Me", and "Running Away". Hits from their latest album are "The Reason", "Out of Control", "Same Direction" and "Unaffected".

After Hoobastank's gig in Manila, the band will fly off to Australia before doing their European tour.
