To increase their chances of winning in the raffle, those who already joined were also asked to invite other friends to sign up as well. With such little effort required, the winner in return gets a shopping spree in New York with P500,000 pocket money and P500,000 for the plane fare, hotel accommodations, limousine service and other incidental expenses she would incur while having the time of her life there.

Like in a dream, raffle winner Michelle, accompanied by her mom, shopped like there was no tomorrow in popular outlet stores, buying whatever catches her fancy from clothes, shoes, perfumes, make up and other beauty products, and even toys. She also bought a couple of fine looking pieces of jewelry from no less than Tiffany & Co. and her chocolate supplies from Ghirardelli. They also met up with their relatives in San Francisco and spent one whole day shopping until they can no longer move in the car because of too much shopping goodies stuffed inside!

If shopping wasn’t on their schedule for the day, they busied themselves by touring the different aesthetic attractions like the Statue of Liberty and San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, or watching a Broadway performance of Fiddler on the Roof and catching a live NBA game between the Detroit Pistons and Golden State Warriors.

And just like a cherry topping on her grand shopping vacation, Michelle bought her own DVD Video Camera and IPOD to serve as souvenirs of the free shopping spree trip she won from Nesvita.
