Technical Quality of Calvin Klein cK Watches
cK Watch uses exclusively ETA SWISS MADE mechanisms. Generally, cK watches
are supplied with highly precise and battery-powered quartz mechanisms.
Diamond Criteria
Cut
Diamonds are cut and faceted to precise parameters to determine their shape,
proportion, polish and brilliance. cK Watch uses full-cut brilliant diamonds
(which indicates there are 32 facets on the upper part of the stone and 24
facets on the lower par) and single-cut brilliant diamonds (8 facets on the
upper part / 8 facets on the lower part). A good cut is recognized by its
light-handling qualities - maximum brilliance and dispersion of light through
the diamond.
Carat-weight
As with all precious stones, the weight - and therefore the size - of a
diamond is expressed in carats, being the unit of measure used to weigh
gemstones (1 carat = 0.2 grams). cK Watch diamonds range weight from 0.01 to
0.16 carat.
Clarity
Refers to the degree to which a diamond is free of internal characteristics. The
size and position of inclusions affect the clarity of a stone according to how
visible they are at 10x. cK watch uses diamonds graded VVS (very very small
inclusions) to SI (small inclusions).
Color
Here again rarity determines value. Totally colorless diamonds are very rare and
represent the highest color graded. the various gradations. From exceptional
white to yellowish, are barely perceptible to the naked eye. CK watch uses diamonds
graded Wesselton (white).
